Today, I will leave you some videos in which you can see how different power plants work. These videos will help you to understand the different power plants better. You will also have a game to review the whole unit.

Tomorrow, we will do the extra point. (Acordaros que esta actividad cuenta para la nota y me la debéis mandar para conseguir el punto extra).

And on Friday, we will do the exam of the unit. (También obligatorio y que será el último examen de Naturales, así que...¡a por todas!)

This is why, we are gonna read page 90.

As you can see, it is quite similar to the heat insulators and conductors.

We start the last unit of Natural Science which is about electricity.
Today, we are gonna read pages 88 and 89. These both pages are about electrical charges.
Here there are two videos. In the first one I explain all this and the second one may help you to understand everything even better.
And now, to finish understanding this, we are gonna do the following activity.
In the box you have different words which are messed up (las letras están revueltas), you need to order the letters to build a word (ordenar las letras para formas palabras). Then complete the gaps using those words.

How are you today? How was the weekend? Did you go out for a walk yesterday? If you did, I hope you enjoyed it! And if you didn´t, I´m sure that you will be able to do it very, very soon!

So, let´s start with the activities for today! As you saw on Friday, we have finished reading and explaining this unit but, we haven´t done any exercises about heat. This is why, today, I am leaving you some activities about this topic and another for you to review other aspects of the unit.

How is it going? I´m sure you all are fine and ready to keep learning about light.
Yesterday we watched a video about reflection and refraction. I hope you have understood both terms and what they are because I have a game for you! Before doing it, review the two pages we read about reflection and refraction. Once you have done this, you can start to play. In this game, you have different situations and you need to decide if they are a reflection situation or a refraction one. Think carefully before answering. Good luck!

Today, we keep reading unit 8. In this case, we are gonna have a look at pages 80 and 81 in which reflection and refraction are explained. As this is a little bit tricky, I have recorded two videos in which I explain these two pages.

Activities for the 16th of April
Morning!
How are you today? I´m sure you all are alright.

Today, I leave you two activities related to what we studied yesterday.
In the first one, you need to match each type of object with its definition and then, give an example of each type of object: an opaque one, a traslucent one and a transparent one.
In the second activity, you need to say if those objects are transparent, traslucent or opaque. If you don´t know what a word means, check it out in your dictionaries or on the internet.

Activities for the 15th of April
Hi everyone!
We are starting unit 7 today. It is about light and heat.
We are going to have a look at the first two pages of the unit. I am leaving a video in which I explain these two pages, so you can undertand them better.
Remember that you need to do the diagram of the unit as we study it. Next, I am gonna leave you a diagram of the whole unit with blank spaces that you can fill in as we study the different parts of the topic. You don´t need to do this diagram if you prefer doing your own one but I thought that it could be useful and easier for you. If you decide to do this diagram, you don´t need to send me the picture every day, you can just send one at the end of the unit, In case you prefer doing your own one, you should send me a picture daily.
